Patrik Kriek defended his bachelor thesis, congratulations!
Topic: Support for teaching introductory quantum mechanics course.
Abstract: The bachelor thesis consists in creating a basic set of simple and illustrative computational
tasks for practicing all the basic topics of the introductory university course in quantum
mechanics. Selected topics are supplemented by illustrative numerical examples from the
world of atoms and molecules. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is
theoretical, where we present an overview and a brief commentary on the works, which
contain solved examples suitable for the introductory course in quantum mechanics. We also
present basic theoretical knowledge of computational methods in quantum mechanics. The
practical part deals with calculations in the relevant quantum-mechanical software and the
collection of tasks.
