Masoud Shahrokhi represented our team at the Flatlands Beyond Graphene Conference!

Our colleague Masoud Shahrokhi attended the international conference Flatlands Beyond Graphene, held on 7–11 September 2026 in Dresden, Germany.

Masoud presented a poster entitled First-principles discovery of stable, anisotropic, semiconducting Sb₂X₂O (X = S, Se) and Janus Sb₂SSeO nanosheets for optoelectronics and photocatalysis.

His work focuses on the structural, electronic, and anisotropic properties of Sb₂X₂O (X = S, Se) and Janus Sb₂SSeO nanosheets, with a focus on their potential applications in optoelectronics and photocatalysis.

The conference also provided an opportunity to discuss current research in emerging two-dimensional materials and exchange ideas and experience with researchers from different institutions.

The participation of our colleague at this conference was financed by the European Union under the LERCO project number CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000003 via the Operational Programme Just Transition.
