František Karlický and Talha Kalsoom represented our team at the EMRS Fall Meeting 2024!
During the week of September 16-20, the Fall Meeting 2024 organized by the European Materials Research Society took place in Warsaw, Poland. Representing our group were the group leader František Karlický and PhD student Talha Kalsoom. At the symposium “Advanced Computational Methods for Materials Design,” Dr. Karlický gave the first talk titled “Optical and Excitonic Properties in 2D Materials Using Many-Body Methods,” and at the symposium “MXenes and Related Materials,” he gave a second talk titled “Excitonic Effects in MXenes.” Talha Kalsoom presented her work in the form of a poster titled “Modeling of Fluorine-Terminated Yttrium Carbides” and presented it in the symposium “Advanced Modeling and Characterization for Sustainable Energy and Health Solutions.” We thank our colleagues for the excellent international representation of our team!
