František Karlický represented our team at the Graphene 2025!
The prestigious Graphene 2025 conference, Europe’s largest scientific meeting focused on 2D materials, took place in Spain from 25–28 June 2025. Our Nanostructure Physics Group was represented by František Karlický, who gave a talk titled “Optical and Excitonic Properties in 2D Materials and van der Waals Heterostructures Using Many-Body Methods” in the Theory of 2D Materials and Devices Simulation workshop.
The conference brought together leading researchers from around the world, including Nobel Prize laureate Konstantin Novoselov, co-discoverer of graphene. František’s participation highlights the quality and international relevance of the research conducted by our team. Many thanks to him for representing us so well!
And we must also add that this trip was funded by the LERCO project (reg. no. CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000003).
