Miroslav Kolos and Jiří Kalmár represented our team at the VASP Workshop 2025!

The VASP Workshop 2025, an internationally renowned meeting focused on advanced atomistic simulations using the Vienna Ab initio Simulation Package (VASP), took place in Rennes, France, from 30 June to 4 July 2025. Our Nanostructure Physics Group was represented by Miroslav Kolos and Jiří Kalmár, who participated in a series of lectures and hands-on sessions aimed at deepening expertise in electronic structure calculations and materials modeling.

The workshop attracted researchers from across Europe and beyond, providing a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge, exploring new features of the VASP code, and strengthening international collaboration. The active participation of Miroslav and Jiří underscores our team’s ongoing commitment to cutting-edge computational research in condensed matter physics.
