František Karlický and Jiří Kalmár represented our team at the FisMat 2025 conference in Venice!
From July 7 to 11, 2025, the prestigious FisMat 2025 conference took place in Venice, Italy. As one of the most important Italian scientific events in condensed matter physics and materials science, it brought together leading researchers from across Europe. Our Nanostructure Physics Group was proudly represented by František Karlický and Jiří Kalmár, both of whom contributed with their own talks.
František Karlický gave a presentation titled:
👉 “Optical and excitonic properties in 2D materials and their van der Waals heterostructures using hybrid TD-DFT”

FisMat provides a valuable platform for sharing scientific results and fostering new collaborations in the field of physics. The participation of František and Jiří highlights the high quality and international relevance of the computational research conducted by our team, especially in the field of 2D materials.
Many thanks to both for representing us so well! 👏
