Masoud Shahrokhi represented our team at the conference Flatlands Beyond Graphene 2026!

Our colleague Masoud Shahrokhi participated in the international conference Flatlands Beyond Graphene, held from 7 to 11 September 2026 at the Penck Hotel in Dresden, Germany.

Masoud presented a poster entitled “First-principles discovery of stable, anisotropic, semiconducting Sb₂X₂O (X = S, Se) and Janus Sb₂SSeO nanosheets for optoelectronics and photocatalysis”.

His research focuses on the structural and electronic properties of novel two-dimensional Sb₂X₂O (X = S, Se) and Janus Sb₂SSeO nanosheets using first-principles methods. The results highlight their potential for applications in optoelectronics and photocatalysis.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to present his research, discuss current topics in the field of two-dimensional materials, and exchange experience with researchers working in related areas.
